British Made Shutters

British made shutters, as the name suggests, are made here in the UK. The quality standard and finish of the shutter is exceptional. They are made from a composite material giving them superior longevity.

The time from order to fit is considerably less than the majority of imported shutters but we still maintain very competitive pricing.

These meticulously crafted shutters are offered in several shutter options including full-height, tier-on-tier and café style.

With a variety of frame styles, hinges and door closures you have the options to design a truly bespoke shutter with a flawless finish to enhance your home.

Full height shutters are designed to dress the full height of the window. A functional, yet stylish feature for any home. Also available with a mid-rail, enabling the shutter blades to be separated for more options when opening/closing louvres.

Café are ideal for rooms where total privacy is not required and light needs to be maximised. Café style shutters are fitted to the lower section of the window only.

Tier-on-tier uses two sets of shutters, each tier can be operated independently offering optimal light and privacy control,

A sliding track is the perfect solution for large windows, patio doors and room dividers. Shutter panels glide effortlessly across a discreet track system facilitating smooth operation. Available as bypass or bi-fold.

Louvres

The British made shutter range offers 3 sized elliptical louvres sizes, 63mm, 76mm and 89mm offering you the choice to suit your shutter design to your own light, privacy and style needs.

Louvre distances are calculated to give a completely even spacing.

Tilt-rods

Offering three options for tilt-rod positioning, the shutter again doesn't fail to fulfill all options. Centre front tilt rods add an appealing feature to the shutter design. Tilt-rods can also be positioned offset to the front of the shutter, or alternatively the very popular 'hidden tilt' discreetly places a very fine tilt rod to the back of the shutter, close to the side of the panel for a clean and streamlined view from the front. The hidden tilt rod can also be split into sections allowing you to operate different sets of louvres independently.

Insulating properties

The fitted frame of shutters creates an effective insulating barrier to stop cold air entering the room and keep the heat inside. A light coloured shutter will help reflect sunlight and keep the room cooler. The louvres on the shutter are designed to be closed in an upward tilt to re-direct heat back into the room and not allow it to escape

Colour Options

Hand Holding Color Swatches

British made shutters come in a standard white finish but offer the option to colour match to any RAL, Farrow & Ball or Little Greene colour paint chart, so you can design a shutter to perfectly fit the design and colour scheme of your room.
